It turns out that – while there are many benefits to Seattle Anti-Freeze – there are also some costs to running it. Costs are miscellaneous: beads, reserving locations, website parking, etc… not to mention my precious free time 
.
So… to help pay for this stuff…
- Tonight, I’m going to ask for a small donation – just $5 (or more, if you’d like). It’s not strictly required – just, you know, preferred
- Paypal donations are also happily accepted. My paypal account is gaylel gmail.com.
- I’m going to make shirts and other merchandise (and also because shirts are awesome ). And that brings me to my next point:
Logo Contest
To make shirts, beer mugs, and other stuff, we need a cool logo. I’m ok with artsy stuff, but there are many people much better than me.
Submissions accepted until September 13th. Just email them to me. You can submit multiple drawings.
Criteria: name is “Seattle Anti-Freeze” and the caption is “Unfreezing Seattle, Party by Party.” It should probably say both of these on it. It also needs to be printable on a shirt, which means that it should probably have a transparent background.
In exchange:
- All people who submit a logo will receive a free piece of swag.
- The winner will receive a free shirt or sweatshirt which – if he/she so schooses – can be signed by various people at the next Anti-Freeze event.
